As I mentioned in a previous post, Greg McComas stopped by last month for a visit. He brought along his GoPro camera and we shot a cab ride on the railroad. It begins at the engine terminal in Nelsonville and wraps up at the west end of North Pierce. Greg kindly loaded the video up to his YouTube channel so that I could post a link here.

Enjoy the ride, and thanks again, Greg!
Tom, as usual I can't get enough of your railroad, the trip ended too soon! Scott
ReplyDeleteThanks for the interest in the railroad, Scott.
DeleteVery cool. I was a little queasy as the train went over the long bridge. It sure seemed like a long way down!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the ride!
DeleteFantastic video Greg/Tom! (Tom was the hump operator on the A&O at last year's Rocky Op.) I've been wanting a whole layout video tour like this. It must be a lot of fun to operate.
ReplyDeleteI love your scenery, the placement of structures, the tunnel portals, your trackwork, the weathering etc., etc. Super well done. If only I could get to your stage of completion.
It's my hope to visit and perhaps get to operate someday.
I enjoy keeping up on your posts, even if I don't comment as much as I should.
Good to hear from you David, and thanks for the kind comments. You are welcome here any time you're in town.
DeleteI finally found a party of the layout you did not do a great job modeling.... The tunnels... Great video, fun to see the back of big chimney!
